Former Saint-Etienne football star Rashid Mekloufi, who also represented the Algerian national team, has passed away at the age of 89, as announced by the press service of the club, Azernews reports. Makhloufi is considered one of the brightest stars of Saint-Etienne in France. After his football career ended as a player in 1970, he moved to the world of coaching, where he supervised the Algerian national team, with whom he won the gold medal in the Mediterranean Games in 1975 in Algeria at the expense of France (3/2 after time).
