Azerbaijani female fighter Polina Hurenko has grabbed a silver medal at the first tournament of the newly-created Karate 1-Youth League held in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Hurenko secured the medal in the women’s 59kg weight category.

The Karate 1-Youth League brought together 1878 competitors from 72 countries.
