Azerbaijani chess players are contesting medals at the 14th Avicenna Cup International Chess Festival, which is underway in Hamadan, Iran.

The national squad includes grandmaster Vugar Rasulov and international master Logman Guliyev, Azertac reported.

The tournament brings together 55 chess players from 12 countries, including 14 grandmasters.
