The sale of tickets for the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games to be held in Baku this May continues.

As many as 40,000 tickets have been sold since the start of the ticket sale on March 19, said Elchin Safarov, Corporate Director of Baku 2017.

“Currently, the sale of tickets is continuing in all the ticket points of the city. Some 30,000 tickets for opening and 60,000 tickets for closing ceremonies are on sale,” he said.

More than 500,000 tickets for competitions in 20 sports are put on a sale.

Tickets for competitions cost 2-5 Azerbaijani manats ($1.2-$3).

Children under 16 will be able to watch competitions for free in 13 sports arenas. Entrance to the Heydar Aliyev Arena, National Gymnastics Arena and Tofiq Bahramov Stadium costs 1 Azerbaijani manat for children aged from 2 to 16, while to the remaining arenas the entrance will be free.

Tickets for the Games opening ceremony cost from 20 to 200 manats, and for closing ceremony from 10 to 100 manats. Both events will be held at the Baku Olympic Stadium.

Tickets can be purchased on the Baku 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games website www.baku2017.com or at 12 points in various parts of Baku.

The 4th Islamic Solidarity Games will be held in Baku on May 12-22, 2017.
