Azerbaijani Paralympic athletes Bahar Shikhiyeva, Azade Abdullayeva and Vusale Karimova successfully competed in an international Paralympic festival held in Minsk, Belarus on August 2-7.

Vusale Karimova and Farid Mehdiyev pair won the gold medal in two nominations (Combi Latino and Combi freestyle) in wheelchair dance event, while Bahar Shikhiyeva and Azade Abdullayeva claimed the gold and bronze medals in parachuting events respectively and qualified for the World Parachuting Cup to be held in Paris this September.

Vusale Karimova also earned the gold medal in bowling competition.
