Azerbaijani taekwondo fighter Milad Beigi Harchegani has grabbed a gold medal at the European championship in Montreux, Switzerland.

He secured the title after destroying Turkey`s Yunus Sari 5-0 in the final bout.

Azerbaijan`s squad at the championship includes 17 fighters.

Harchegani already qualified for Rio 2016 Summer Olympics.
