Azerbaijani runner Hakim Ibrahimov has won the gold medal in the 800m event at the International competition for the prizes of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova in Kazakhstan.

Ibrahimov secured the medal after timing 1.54.89 seconds.

Another Azerbaijani athlete Arif Abbasov ranked 5th.
