Young Azerbaijani judo fighter Hidayet Heydarov (66kg) has claimed the bronze medal at the World Championships in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.

He secured the medal thanks to a victory over Colombian Juan Tello.

Another Azerbaijani fighter Huseyn Rahimli ranked 5th in the 73kg division.
