The Azerbaijan national boxing team finished 3rd in the overall medal table of the World Championships held in Doha.

The Azerbaijani boxers claimed a gold, a silver and two bronze medals.

The Cuban team topped the medal table with 4 golds, 4 silvers and a bronze, while Russia finished the tournament as runner up with 2 golds, a silver and a bronze.
