Azerbaijani FK Qabala have been held to a 1-1 draw by Apollon Limassol of Cyprus in the first game of the UEFA Europa League qualifier as they clashed in Larnaka.

Georgios Kolokoudias scored the hosts` opener in the 14th minute.

Javid Huseynov grabbed FK Qabala`s equalizer late in the game after converting a penalty shoot.

The return match will be played in Baku next week.
