Azerbaijani freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers have brought home a clutch of 12 medals, including 7 golds from Spanish Grand Prix tournament.
Greco-Roman wrestlers Rovshan Bayramov weighting in at 55 kg, Orkhan Ahmadov at 60 kg, Hasan Aliyev at 66 kg and Saman Tahmasibi at 84 kg grabbed gold medals, while Elchin Aliyev and Vitaly Rahimov gained silver medals in the 55 kg and 66 kg divisions respectively.
Freestyle wrestlers Ruslan Dibirhaciyev, Khetag Gazyumov and Aslan Dzebishov won gold medals in the 66 kg, 96 kg and 120 kg classes respectively, while Ashraf Aliyev weighting in at 74 kg, Mahammadhaji Khatiyev at 84 kg and Sharif Sharifov at 96 kg grabbed silver medals.
Azerbaijan topped the overall table in both both Greco-Roman and freestyle events.
