Chelsea has not given up on Wayne Rooney. The London club is still confident that it can sign the English forward from Manchester United, in spite of the fact that the Red Devils' new manager, David Moyes, has said that the player is not for sale.
According to 'The Independent', if Chelsea does end up signing Rooney, it will sell Fernando Torres or Demba Ba. There have been a lot of rumours surrounding the Spaniard this summer, although yesterday the English press reported that Mourinho had spoken to him and Mata to tell them that he would be counting on them.
As for Demba Ba, Fenerbahce is one of the teams interested in his services.
