Spanish giants Real Madrid announced Tuesday that their new coach was Italian Carlo Ancelotti, on a three-year contract, dpa reported.
Ancelotti, 54, recently terminated his contract at Paris Saint-Germain after leading them to the French Ligue 1 title.
In Madrid he replaces Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, who has returned to Premier League side Chelsea after a controversial three-year spell at Real.
