Azerbaijan`s Agil Pirverdiyev has clinched the individual prize at the World Youth Chess Olympiad in the Turkish city of Istanbul. He secured the prize after winning 9 out of his 10 encounters.
He scored 90 pts on the second board, and was topped by Iran`s Khalil Musavi. In the overall table, Azerbaijan finished fifth with 24 pts.
