Azerbaijani Junior Gymnasts have scooped 3 medals in the Traditional International “Sea cup-2012” Tournament in Israel. 10-year-old gymnast of the Baku School of Gymnastics Vafa Hasanzade has won the silver medals of the tournament in all-round.
The Azerbaijani gymnast who has demonstrated skills in three types of exercises in this age group totally gained 65, 15 points and ahead the Russian athlete by the 1 points.
The winner and gold medalist of this age group was the gymnast of the Israeli Club “Makkabi.”
10-year-old other Azerbaijani athlete Ilaha Mammadova has won 2 medals in the tournament.
She won bronze medals for hoop exercise and a composition without any object. In personal competition, the 11-year-old sportswoman finished sixth.
The first five places have scooped by the Russian gymnasts in this age category. On the whole, “Sea Cup 2012,” considered the calendar contest of the International Gymnastic Federation, was attended by the 170 Sportswomen from 12 countries.
