Azerbaijan national women`s field hockey team have defeated Belarus 3-0 in the second round of the Olympic qualifying tournament in Kakamigahara, Japan. Azerbaijan`s goals came from Khatira Aliyeva (2) and Jang Suleymanova.
In the round`s other game Japan beat Malaysia 8-0. Azerbaijan will next face Austria on Sunday.
