The Executive Committee of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) held its regular meeting in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. WTF vice president, president of the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation (ATF) Kamaladdin Heydarov attended the meeting.
Novelties implemented in the taekwondo fighting and schedule of upcoming official tournaments were discussed at the meeting. The Committee approved the schedule to hold World Taekwondo Championships 2013 in Mexican City of Puebla, World Cup and 4th Parataekwondo World Championships in Senegal, World Youth Championship 2014 in Taiwan.
WTF Executive Committee`s decisions were announced in the 13th WTF General Assembly at the International Congress Center, Sharm El Sheikh. Representatives of 74 countries attended the meeting. Member of WTF Executive Committee, ATF vice president Fuzuli Musayev was also among them. The Assembly approved some amendments in the Regulations. WTF president Choue Ching-won congratulated the countries qualified to the Summer Olympic Games and wished them successes.
