"Armenians lie again, and just want to lay the blame on Azerbaijan," spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry, Lieutenant-Colonel Eldar Sabiroglu said while answering a question about Armenian media reports that Azerbaijani Armed Forces killed two Armenian soldiers and wounded one in Nagorno Karabakh on April 29.
Eldar Sabiroglu said Armenians again spread false reports, actually the situation is quite different.
"As you know, there is a hostility between Karabakh Armenians and Armenians living in Armenia. This hostility has also influenced the army. Deadly shootings happened several times in the military units in Nagorno Karabakh between the non-resident Armenians and local Armenian soldiers. The incident happened for that reason. On April 29, a soldier, the citizen of Armenia, killed two soldiers born in Martuni region of Nagorno Karabakh. That's what really happened," he said.
Armenian media reported that Azerbaijani soldiers killed two Armenian servicemen and wounded one on April 29.
