An individual inciting people to sell illegal religious literature has been detained in Azerbaijan.
The Gakh region’s resident Sarkhan Gadashov appealed to police department on April 18 and said that Vusal Bakirov incited him to distribute literature and brochures dedicated to the religious 'Jehovah's Witnesses' sect, the Azerbaijani the Interior Ministry said.
As a result of measures carried out by the Gakh region police department’s officers, two books, propaganda and distribution of which is prohibited by law, were seized from him, an administrative protocol was drawn up under the relevant article of the Azerbaijani Code of Administrative Offenses and sent to the region’s court.
