The number of surveillance cameras in Baku metro has been increased.
The old cameras were replaced with new ones to strengthen security in metro stations and new cameras were installed in entrances and exits, which are connected with the central surveillance system. There are night, rain and fog vision Sanyo-produced cameras in subway stations, too.
The metro surveillance system was renovated by Turkey's Ekin Technology Company. It will be later integrated into Baku’s MOBESE (city surveillance system) system.
Ekin Technology has contracts with Baku MOBESE, Moscow Central Security Systme, as well as with a number of Middle East and European security projects.
