Armenian hackers have attacked the website of the Coordinating Council of Azerbaijani Youth (KSAM).
The KSAM information and analytical website, ksam.org, which belongs to the Azerbaijani diaspora living in Russia, once attacked by Armenian hackers, the council reported. The site's domain name was stolen.
"The theft demonstrates how vile these individuals are, and their attitude toward contemporary democratic values, such as freedom of speech, thought and expression," the council reported.
The council added that the site had always placed a priority on being objective and accurate, and stressed the importance of pluralism and international law.
"Perpetrators of this crime, among other things, in the best way possible demonstrated their attitude toward the abovementioned values, and this can be characterized as a rejection of the foundations of a modern democratic society, a preference to distort the truth for the sake of dirty political games, and to deny justice and fairness," the council said.
KSAM also stated that it is not responsible for the information posted on the domain, and has made a transition to the new domains, 1ksam.org and 1ksam.com.
"We hope that we can regain our domain and we will continue to inform our readers about new developments," the council said.
