The Ministry for Emergency Situations made an official statement about the fire, which occurred on the market in Baku settlement "8 kilometer".
Several stands with a total area of 20,000 square meters and polymeric materials in an area of 4,500 square meters were burnt, a message posted on the official website of the ministry said.
Fire was extinguished at 02:26. As a result of smoke, two people were injured. Medical care was immediately rendered. The relevant bodies investigate the incident.
