A bus with Azerbaijani pilgrims on board has hit a mine in Iraq.
Azerbaijani Embassy in Jordan also accredited in Iraq has began procedures to hand over the body of Azerbaijani pilgrim Intigam Rustamov to home, the embassy in Amman said.
Rustamov died when Hyundai bus carrying Azerbaijani pilgrims hit a land mine in the Iraqi province of Diala on Oct. 13. Three injured pilgrims Aslanov Elvin, Abdullayev Elchin Tahir and Abdullayev Elchin Vahid are in hospital. Their health condition is stable.
The Azerbaijani embassy is waiting for passports, which are in the bus with the rest pilgrims, who arrived at the place of pilgrimage in Karbala, to return the body of the deceased pilgrim and injured people to home.

One of the Azerbaijani pilgrims, injured as a result of a land mine blast in Iraq, has passed away, the Azerbaijani Embassy to Jordan and Iraq told Trend with reference to the Iraqi Interior Ministry's official report.
The dead pilgrim's name is Intigam, while his surname is sill unknown. His dead body will be delivered to the homeland through Interpol.
Iraqi Health Ministry confirmed the Azerbaijani pilgrim's death, the Embassy said.
Earlier, Intigam's name was included in the list of injured.

The condition of the Azerbaijani pilgrims injured in Iraq is satisfactory. They have been taken to different hospitals, Elvin Aslanov, one of the injured pilgrims told Trend over phone.
As a result of the accident four pilgrims received injuries of varying severity. Three pilgrims' names have become known. They are Elvin Aslanov, Elchin Abdullayev and Intigam, whose surname is still unknown.
Aslanov received shrapnel and bullet wounds in arm. According to him, the bullet has not yet been pulled out. However, he doesn't remember the incident in details. Another injured Elchin Abdullayev has been taken to a hospital in Baghdad, his health state is stable, Aslanov added.
According to him, all the injured initially were taken to one hospital, and then, depending on the severity of injuries, they were taken to various hospitals.

Names of the Azerbaijani pilgrims injured in a traffic accident in Iraq have been announced. They are Elshan Aslanov and Intigam, whose surname has not yet clarified, the Bakuba Hospital, located on Iraq's border with Iran, where the injured were taken, told Trend. Aslanov's health state is satisfactory, while the second injured pilgrim Intigam has been sent to Baghdad, the hospital said.
Earlier, Iranian media outlets reported that six Azerbaijanis were injured as a result of an explosion of a bus. According to the Iranian media, the accident took place in the Iranian Province of Diala.

Earlier, Iranian media reported that six Azerbaijanis were injured as a result of an explosion of a bus. Ahmad Javaz Mohammad has no information about the injured pilgrims' names.
He said that the rest Azerbaijani pilgrims were taken to Karbala. The Caucasian Muslims Office is not involved in organizing pilgrimage to Iraq, because it does not guarantee the safety of the pilgrims, the office told Trend.
