A Day of Family, Love and Allegiance will be marked in the State Museum Center in Baku on July 9.
This holiday is celebrated in Russia on July 8. This day is marked in memory of Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia that are considered patrons of family welfare in Russia.
The event will be organized by representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo (Federal Agency for CIS affairs, compatriots living abroad and on international humanitarian cooperation) in Azerbaijan, Russian Information and Cultural Centre and Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
During the event the couples who have been married for more than 25 years will be awarded medals "For the love and allegiance”. The event reportedly will be followed by a gala concert.
