Azerbaijanis in Korolev, suburban town near Moscow, organized celebrative events to mark the Nowruz Holiday.

National-Cultural Autonomy of Azerbaijanis of the city hosted the event.

Deputy Head of Administration of the Korolev City for Information Policy and Public Affairs Alexander Pyresev congratulated Azerbaijanis and guests on the occasion of Nowruz Holiday.

He noted that the city has four national-cultural autonomies, including autonomy of the Azerbaijanis of the city, which is very active in fulfilling its goals and objectives in the field of conservation and development of national and cultural customs and traditions of its people.

He said Azerbaijani diaspora is one of the largest in Korolev.

Korolev authorities make serious efforts to establish inter-ethnic relations in the spirit of national tolerance, he added.

The guests was later presented cultural concert program performed by folk minstrels, Mugam performers, national dancers and singers.
