Youth and Sport Minister of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov met Wednesday visiting Secretary General of Jordan`s Higher Council for Youth Sari Hamdan.
The talks focused on the youth and sports cooperation between the two countries.
Rahimov spoke of the Azerbaijan-Jordan relations, friendship between President Ilham Aliyev and King II Abdullah as well as projects initiated by the two countries` first ladies.
The Minister also noted youngsters from the two countries often meet within the Islamic states` youth forum project.
Sari Hamdan, in turn, said the youth constitutes 70 percent of his country`s population, and the government gives every support for their participation in international projects.
He also noted heads of the two countries` youth organizations should meet to discuss future relevant projects.
