Today, the Court of Grave Crimes of Azerbaijan has held the hearing on a criminal case of the citizens of Bangladesh.

According to Day.Az, the court was presided by Judge Azer Orujov.

According to the court verdict, the defendants Yukol Bhunyan Abdul, Abdul Nur Hussein Karesh, Mohammed Abdul Svapan are sentenced to 9, 8, 8 years in prison.

At trial, all three defendants pleaded guilty in part on the charges against them.

As can be seen from the record, on September 3, 2008 these persons detained in the Bailov settlement of the Sabayil district attacked Mahaddin Amirov, a janitor working in the shop. Threatening him with a knife, the robbed a cell phone, wristwatch and 4 manats 60 gepik.

Citizens of Bangladesh were charged under the relevant paragraphs of Article 181 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
