The presentation of the large-scale ecological map of Absheron (1:10000) was held in the act hall of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan.
According to the press service for the company, chief of SOCAR's ecological department Azer Aliyev noted that the map was made by the International Academy of Ecopower by the order of the structure, he heads.
The map took into accounts the proposals of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, as well as the World Bank.
President of the International Academy of Ecopower Faqan Aliyev noted that the said map reflects the thoroughly studied information about the Absheron peninsula.
