Family members of Bizim yol newspaper correspondent Mushvig Huseynov met him in prison No 2.
Day.Az reports with reference to the Institute for Reporter Freedom and Safety that the due information was provided by journalist's brother Sarvar Huseynov.
He said the journalist has problems with health.
"Mushvig complains about pains in the back. Doctors noticed that he has signs of heart arrhythmia", noted Huseynov.
Huseynov noted that the journalist is being under treatment.
It should be reminded that the Court of Grave Crimes sentenced Huseynov to 6 years of imprisonment. Moreover, he is prohibited to engage in journalism for two years. The Appellate Court reduced the imprisonment term to five years.
The journalist was arrested by officials of the National Security Ministry on July 24 of this year. He faced charges under article 311.1 (bribery).
