On Friday, Baku Court of Appeal continued trial on the appeal of Bakcell Manager, Macedonian citizen Sashko Todorovsky, accused of taking bribes.
Sources from the court told APA that Bakcell Director General Martin Kjork and Manager Nail Mirza gave testimony as a witness. The next court session was scheduled on June 11.
Todorovsky accused under Article 311.3.3 of the Azerbaijan’s Criminal Code (reception by official of a bribe for illegal actions in the large amount) demanded to replace it with Article 312.1 (the presentation of a bribe to official personally or through the intermediary). He was convicted for 8 years of prison by the Court of Grave Crimes.
