26 members of the gang stand trial presided by Judge Ali Seyfaliyev. Defendant Hussain Abdulvahabov gave free testimony and said that he is not guilty in stealing of Daewoo car in Vishnyovka settlement, robbing the houses of Rena Pashayeva and Afag Melikova.

"I was accused of these crimes, but the participants did not call my name in their testimonies. I am not guilty in kidnapping of Ahmed Mammadov, the son of Azersigorta State Company chief. I was accused after Haji Mammadov's testimony," he said.

Hussain Abdulvahabov also said that he has no relation to the plan of kidnapping of Yalikhan Iluyev, the director of Leather Plant.

"This crime was not committed and no one suffered. It was included in the criminal case to link Zakir Nesirov with the criminal gang," he said.

Then the defendant answered the public prosecutors' questions.

He said that Haji Mammadov is partial to him, because he thinks that he was arrested for Hussain Abdulvahabov's and Zakir Nesirov's testimonies.

The trial will continue in the second half of the day, APA reports.
