Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes today continued the trial of the gang led by Haji Mammadov, former high ranking official of the Interior Ministry Crime Investigation Department.

Binagadi Police Department former officer Rovshan Agayev answered the public prosecutor's questions. He said he knew Farhad Mammadbayov, Aligulu Guliyev, Nizami Abdullayev, Mehman Hasanov, Yagir Mammadov, Musa Dabuyev and Aslanbek Chentamirov (all are gang members) personally. He does not consider himself gang member.

"I am not Haji Mammadov"s gang member. If I were, I would be aware of their crimes. I was just the chauffeur of Mammadov's family," he said.

Aghayev found himself partially guilty only in two crimes. "I helped to tie Shirkhan Albiyev's and Boris Eyyubov's hands and knew nothing about their death. I heard about other crimes only in the investigation," Aghayev said.

He refused the accusation on the murdering of Mehman Samadov, Novruz Ismayilov, Azer Ismayilov and on kidnapping of Ogtay Babayev and Murad Kazimov.

Then he answered lawyer Adil Ismayilov's questions on kidnapping Zamire Hajiyeva. Aghayev said he changed the registration number of Haji Mammadov's car. APA
