Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes today continued the trial of the gang led by Haji Mammadov, former high ranking official of the Interior Ministry Crime Investigation Department.
Defendant Fariz Hamidov answered public prosecutor's questions. He said he told nothing about of Yenikend resident Eldar Muradov's injury in the investigation. "I had no idea about Aslanbek Chintamirov's aim. I left the place when comprehended the essence of the matter. In the court they made me sign the pre-papered testimony which was not mine," he said. Answering the prosecutors' questions Chintamirov said that Hamidov was taken for help to negotiate in Azerbaijani language and was not informed about the robbery. Then Hemidov answered the lawyers' questions. He said he did not know told that he did not know Haji Mammadov and his gang until he was arrested. After interrogating, public prosecutors solicited for some controversial points in his testimonies to the court and investigation, APA reports.
