Monthly average temperature will be close to the climate norms in Azerbaijan in October.

In some places it will be 1-2 degrees above the norms, Umayra Tagiyeva, Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry National Hydrometeorology Department bureau chief told the APA.

The amount of the rain is forecast to be close, and in some places below the norms. Unstable weather will predominate in first ten-day of October. There will be lightning and heavy rain. Sleet and snow is forecast in the mountains.

Baku and Absheron peninsula:
The monthly average temperature will be 17-19 degrees (1-2 degrees above the norms)
Amount of monthly rain will be close to the norms.

Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic:
The monthly average temperature will be 15-17 degrees. The amount of rain will be 19-32 mm (close to the norms).

Khankendi, Kelbejer, Khojavend, Zengilan, Gubadli, Shusha, Khojali, Lachin, Deshkesen-Gedebey:
The monthly average temperature will be 9-11 degrees. The amount of rain will be 34-48 mm (close to the norms).

Gazakh-Ganja, Terter, Agdam-Fuzuli-Jabrayil:
The monthly average temperature will be 16-17 degrees (1-2 degrees above the norms). The amount of rain will be close to the norms.

Balaken-Sheki-Zagatala-Gebele, Shamakhi-Ismayilli, Khizi, Siyazan, Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz:
The monthly average temperature will be 14-16 degrees (1-2 degrees above the norm). The amount of rain will be above the norm.

Merkezi Aran regions, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Kurdamir, Imishli, Ali Bayramli, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Salyan, Neftchala:
The monthly average temperature will be 17-19 degrees (1-2 degrees above the norm). The amount of rain will be above the norm.

Masalli-Lenkeran-Astara-Lerik:
The monthly average temperature will be 16-17 degrees. The amount of rain will be 96-274 mm (close to the climate norm).
