Azerbaijani Military Prosecutor's Office officer Fuzuli Mammadov, who has shot at his son and himself on family dispute, died in Central Clinic Hospital resuscitation department after 18-day coma.
The department said medical aid was ineffective. He died on September 16.
Fuzuli Mammadov shot his 26-year-old son, National Security Ministry officer Ziya Mammadov and himself. Ziya Mammadov was treated in resuscitation department and discharged 15 days after the incident. A criminal case was launched on criminal code 29, 120.1 articles in State Prosecutor’s Office Grave Crimes Investigation Department. "According to Azerbaijan legislation, the crime is voided if a criminal is dead. But this case is being investigated, and everything depends on its result," Prosecutor's Office press service chief Vugar Aliyev told the APA.
