Officers of the Investigation Department of Financial Police of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara detained Najaf Garandalov, citizen of Azerbaijan for smuggling on Thursday.
As Prime-News was told by representatives of the Financial Police, the suspect smuggled two kilos gold, ten kilos silver and $1 500 not registered in a customs clearance by bus from Turkey. The detainee has already been interrogated andtaken into custody. Expertise will define exact cost of the goods.
