The agenda of workshop "Media of Azerbaijan and Turkey: similarity and differences" is divided into 4 items.

The meeting starts at Park Inn Hotel on 11 April at 10.00am and completes in the evening. Ali Hassanov, the head of the Public-Political Department of the President's Office, and Erkan Ozoral, the Turkish diplomat, will open the workshop.

Delivering the speech at the event will be Orkhan Erindj, the head of the Society of Turkish newsmen, Professor Nurdjay Turkoglu, the dean of Marmara University, Nail Gurali, the contributor of Milliyet daily, Jahangir Mammadli, the Head of the Chair of the faculty of journalism at the Baku State University, Xeynal Mammadli, the professor of the same faculty, Arif Aliyev, the chairman of "Yeni Nasil" (New Generation) Association, as well as Etibar Baghirov, the editor-in-chief of Nedelya daily.

The workshop will discuss media bodies, journalist law and ethical issues, informing, economic problems.

The international workshop will be organized jointly by the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani Media Council, Trend reports.
