European Court of Human Rights decision-making bureau received 238 applications from Azerbaijan in 2003.

As APA reports, 45 applications were considered inadmissible; consultation was held with the government on 3 applications. The Court did not deal with any cases.

In 2004, the European Court received 151 new applications. 200 applications, including those received in 2003, were considered inadmissible, and consultation was held with the government on 15 of them. None of the cases were dealt with.

175 new applications were received by the court in 2005. 120 of them were considered inadmissible, consultation was held with the government on 5 applications. The Court decided to deal with 3 cases.

The European Court has over 300 applications received from Azerbaijan at present.
