The case of two students, former 4th-year student of History faculty of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU) Namig Feyziyev and former 4th-year student of faculty of International Relations of Baku State University (BSU) Turan Aliyev, reported of being expelled from the universities for political conviction, was reviewed today.

Bayram Huseynzade, the Head of Public Affairs Department of Education Ministry claimed that, the representatives of the Embassies of the US, Great Britain and Norway in Baku, delegates of Council of Europe Office in Baku and NGO representatives, as well as, rectors of BSU and ASPU attended the meeting.

The Education Ministry restored the above mentioned students to the 3rd course at the request of the embassies and other organizations, APA reports.

N.Feyziyev and T.Aliyev told that they were unaware of the decision on restoring them. They underlined that they would not agree wiht the decision to restore them to the 3rd course.
