The Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry and the Asian Development Bank signed $500,000 grant agreement "Towns alliance". The program is jointly financed by the UNDP and Israeli embassy, the UNDP Baku Office told Trend.
The goal of the project is to increase the mobilization capability of the strategy planning, resources management of Azerbaijani towns to prevent poverty and promote economic development. 18-month project will be implemented by the Secretariat on Poverty Reduction and Economic Development under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development. The implementation of the strategy will start in the towns Ganja, Sheki and Mingachevir. The project is first of its kind implementing on the territory of the South Caucasus. Trend
