The chairman of the World Azerbaijanis Congress (WAC) Javad Derakhti came to an official visit to Baku yesterday.
The chief of the WAC press-service Ali Nijat informing APA about it said that J.Derakhti is intended to meet members of WAC acting in Baku, representatives of the government and representatives of a group of public organizations during the visit. J.Derakhti will participate in the foundation ceremony of the World Azerbaijanis Fund (WAF) registered in Switzerland and in the WAC Youth Forum during his visit in Baku.
Azerbaijani entrepreneurs and famous intellectuals from different countries were invited to these measures. Javad Derakhti will visit Tbilisi at the end of the visit’s program. He will participate in the meeting of the WAC Georgian bureau there.
