Azeri sportsmen defeated Koreans with score 7:4 on the first day of the World Cup box tournament, which started in Moscow. Shahin Ismayilov (57 kg), Ramal Amanov (60 kg), Emin Maharramov (64 kg), Ruslan Khairov (69 kg), Javid Tagiyev (75 kg), Vugar Alakbarov (91 kg) and Mahammad Adamov (above 91 kg) gained a victory in their weight categories, Agajan Abiyev.
The Azerbaijani boxers will face with a strong Ukrainian team on Thursday, in the next decisive single combat for qualification to semi-final. (Trend)
Ukrainian national team and Korean team will fight in the match for defining the third participant of the sub-group.
Only the winner of the sub-group will be qualified for the semi-final round.
