In January to April 2005 71 crimes per 100,000 people have been registered in Azerbaijan, According to the Interior Ministry. 2325 people suffered as a result of crimes, while 292 people died.
9.1% of the registered crimes were grave and especially grave. As a result of search operations 80% of crimes were revealed. 6.6% of the crimes were perpetrated b a group of people, 6.8% - people who earlier committed crimes, 2.5% - drunks and 1.9% -minors, or with their participation.
81.9% of 4714 law-breaks committed in January-April 2005 were made answerable. 86.9% criminals were abled, but the same time jobless, 8.4% - people who earlier committed crimes, 4.3% - servants and 13.4% -women.
