A campaign on fighting with tuberculosis will be held in Azerbaijan from 10 March to 10 April.
The Health Ministry told Trend the campaign dedicated to 24 March - the International Day of Fighting Tuberculosis, will be held under the national program on fighting tuberculosis.
Organized by the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC), the German Technical Assistance Society, the Azerbaijani Society of Red Cross and Greek organization MedIn the event targets public awareness on the ways of infection with tuberculosis, its symptoms, release of the diseased from this brand.
Under the campaign there will be organized enlightenment work in the penitentiary institutions and different events.
