Fans of delicious Asian food do not miss the chance to taste Korean cuisine in Baku.

Korean Food Showcase will be organized in the capital city, near the Maiden Tower in Icherisheher between 11:00 and 18:00 on September 27.

Organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Azerbaijan, Korean Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Retail Affairs and Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), the event will feature Korean agricultural product tasting and Korean traditional tea ceremony demonstration.

The products showcased at the event will include:

Healthy Food : Red Ginseng Tea, Red Ginseng Extracts, Roasted and Ground Powder of Germinated Brown Rice, Super Food Mixed Grain Powder, Ginger Flavored Bellflower juice Ect.

Tea and Snacks : Jujube Tea, Green Tea, Citron Tea, Omija Juice, Sweet Rice Puff, Rice Crispy Cookies, Traditional Korean Wheat Honey Cookies Ect

Alcoholic Beverages : Citron-flavored Soju(korean style vodka), Makgeoli (traditional liquor from rice ), Leegangju Ect.

Korean cuisine was influenced by the well-defined four seasons and by the regional characteristics of the Korean peninsula.

Local dishes are made from ingredients that reveal the geographical characteristics of each microclimate and region. The recipes reflect the wisdom of living healthily by eating seasonally.
