The Azerbaijan Labor and Social Protection Ministry approved the production calendar for 2017.

Thus, the non-working days in 2017 are the following : January 1,2 – New Year, January 20 – Day of National Mourning/ Black January, March 8 – Day of Women, March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 – Novruz Bayram, May 9 – Victory Day, May 28 – Republic Day, June 15 – National Salvation Day, June 26 – Day of Armed Forces, June 26, 27 – Ramadan Holiday (Eid-al-Fitr), September 1, 2 - Eid-al-Adha, November 9 – State Flag Day and December 31 –Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis.  

As the weekends coincide with non-working days and one day of Ramadan Holiday coincides with the day of Armed Forces, January 3, 4, May 29, June 28 and September 4 in the five-day working week and January 3 and May 29 in six-day week will be considered as non-working days, according to the legislation.
