Former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama has become a member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center. He received the invitation to join the organization as its representatives visited Tokyo as part of preparations for the third Global Shared Societies Forum.

Mr. Hatoyama as well as another Japanese former Premier Yasuo Fukuda, former UNESCO chief Koichiro Matsuura and several prominent Japanese public and political figures were invited to the third Global Shared Societies Forum to take place in Baku in 2015.
