Damp and low temperature accompanied with an
intermittently strengthening Khazri (cold north Caspian Sea wind) wind
in Absheron peninsula is considered unsuitable for meteorologically
susceptible people from March 9 to 11.
As the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry reported, the weather will be lesser rainy during the day in Baku and Absheron peninsula.
Sleet is expected in some places. Temperate north-western wind will blow, will strengthen off and on in the second half of the day. The temperature is forecasted to be 2-5 C in the afternoon, up to 0?C towards the evening.
The weather will be interruptedly rainy in the country's regions. Sleet is expected in some places alongside snow in the mountainous and foothills regions. Western wind will blow, will intermittently intensify in sevaral places.
The temperature will be -2 C to +3 C at night, +5-10 C in the afternoon, -7-12 C in the mountains at night, and 0-(-4) in the afternoon. The minimum temperature in the high mountainous areas is expected to be -11-16 C.
