Georgia is interested in electricity exports to Europe via Bulgaria, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Vera Kobalia said to journalists in Sofia. He was summarizing his visit to Bulgaria. Kobalia headed the delegation to the meeting of Georgian-Bulgarian intergovernmental committee in Bulgaria.

"Georgia is developing its energy opportunities, producing ecologically safe electricity at hydro-power stations and is interested in electricity exports abroad," Kobalia noted. "There is growing demand for safe electricity because of renunciation of nuclear power.
