Georgia should regulate relations with Russia, the leader of "Free Democrats" Irakli Alasania told journalists, commenting on Bidzina Ivanishvili's interview with Reuters.

Alasania said that he discussed this topic with Ivanishvili and during the first meeting, the positions of the parties regarding the fact that Russia is a major challenge for Georgia coincided.

Despite that Russia has occupied part of Georgia's territory, it needs to regulate relations with it, he said.

"Georgia should form as a country with which it will be possible to agree. Our way lies in Europe, and we will not turn back form this way," said Alasania.
